Responsible & safer gambling

Gambling should always be fun. If it stops being fun, it's time to stop. Here's how to stay in control — and where to find free, confidential help.

18+ only

18+ only. No exceptions.

It is illegal for anyone under 18 to gamble in Great Britain. All licensed operators must verify age and identity before allowing any play. If you're a parent, consider filtering software such as Net Nanny, Qustodio or Cyber Patrol to protect children.

Our commitment

Huravun only features casinos licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, all of which are legally required to offer tools that help customers manage their gambling. We believe gambling should be an occasional leisure activity for adults — never a source of income or a way to escape problems.

Signs gambling may be becoming a problem

  • Spending more money or time gambling than you intended
  • Chasing losses or gambling to win back money
  • Borrowing money, selling possessions or missing bills to gamble
  • Feeling anxious, irritable or guilty about gambling
  • Hiding your gambling from friends and family
  • Gambling to escape stress, boredom or low mood
  • Neglecting work, study or relationships because of gambling

If any of these sound familiar, please reach out to one of the organisations below. Talking to someone early can make a real difference.

Tools to help you stay in control

  • Deposit limits — cap how much you can deposit daily, weekly or monthly.
  • Reality checks — pop-up reminders from the casino showing how long you've been playing.
  • Time-outs — take a short break from 24 hours up to six weeks.
  • Self-exclusion — close your account for at least six months with an individual operator.
  • GAMSTOP — self-exclude from all UK-licensed gambling websites and apps at once.
  • Bank gambling blocks — many UK banks let you block gambling transactions in their app.
  • Blocking software — tools such as Gamban or BetBlocker can block gambling sites on your devices.

Resolving disputes

If you have an unresolved complaint with a UK-licensed casino, first follow the operator's own complaints process. If it is not resolved within eight weeks, you can refer it to the operator's Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider, such as the Independent Betting Adjudication Service (IBAS). You can also find information on the UK Gambling Commission website.
